Welcome back to the weekly Monday Motivation podcast

NO MORE EXCUSES!

As always, thanks for listening to the podcast, connecting with me on social media and answering the challenge questions! Oh yes, and SHARING this podcast! On average, I've had about 1,000 listeners/downloads each month and it's all because of YOU! I know it doesn't take much to forward-on to someone or share the link on your social media, but it's still helping me reach more people, help others and for that, your time is greatly appreciated!

Today is the day! December 31st. The last day of the month and YEAR! 2018 is in the books! I mean, you can still KICK ASS today and many of you will before heading out to "ring in the New Year!" 

So, as the title says, it's time to REVIEW the year. I challenged all my clients, and you listeners to the 100 Days to Finish the Year Strong. So - how did it go? ALL of 2018? I achieved all but one of my goals. I travelled for work, finished my third book, The MAGIC PILL, and lived up to my "word of the year" BOLD!

What about you?

Last week's podcast was about the final push, but moreso about BUILDING UPON WHO YOU ARE (or were last week!) Who are, and where are you TODAY? Again, there's no need for a "new you"! Let's just keep going and keep BUILDING and GROWING!

For this week's podcast you'll need a piece of paper, OR download my DIY Year in Review worksheet from my website. Or email me and I'll send it to you! It's an activity I go through myself, and since have taken all my clients through it. It helps you see what you've learned, accomplished and, yes, what you haven't, so you can understand the EXCUSE or the REASON WHY. 

For example, I wanted to run another half-marathon in 2018. I did not. The winter here in Indiana was relentless which kept me inside (treadmills SUCK for over 6!), and then since I wasn't really training, I got lazy with my stretching which in-turn affected my knee and I was in physical therapy and not running or doing much for about 4 months. By the time I was ready, it was too late to train for the last half of the year (here in Indy!) This has taken it's toll on me mentally as well as my overall fitness. I've pouted about it long enough. 

I reviewed. What do you think? Legitimate reason. Or EXCUSE?

Now, I'm RESETTING. And now, I've identified THREE half-marathons that I WILL do! I'll let you in on a secret - the one goal of getting my weight back down... EXCUSE. Well, none really, I ate too much mexican food, french fries, pizza, and just junk in general due to my lack of mental strength. But, it was all on me! It's hard sometimes to stay on-track isn't it? Especially when you're not doing what "you want"! I wasn't running, so I didn't care. Nice attitude eh? (Tell that to my jeans!)

So, this week, listen in to REVIEW your year. And then RESET. It's time to write your story for 2019 of who you want to become and how.
