Last week's podcast was about FOCUS! How it will help you feel productive, not just "busy"! I asked what helps you stay focused - what's your strategy? How do you, or what helps you get back on-track?
I heard back from some listeners who said,
Figuring out focus strategies is one of the main things I work with my clients on. WHY? So they can be more productive! If you say you're not "organized" or "need to duplicate yourself", and "wish there were more hours in the day", then I guarantee you aren't FOCUSED, or perhaps not focusing on the right things.
I've helped people find hours in the day they never thought they had, and pull them out of a panic when they overslept, were sick and just couldn't get things done.
And, what goes along with being focused and getting shit done? REWARD! Yes! Who doesn't like prizes! Rewards, even for tiny accomplishments, keep us going!
Listen in this week as I talk about what I do to stay focused and how I reward myself. Because we all want something to keep us going! If you lose five pounds, do you reward yourself? What if you get that closet cleaned out? Make those three phone calls you've been avoiding? What do you allow yourself to have, do or get for accomplishing those tasks?
We all have to figure out a way to stay FOCUSED. For me it is my list. But, I've been there! I've been asked, "What did you do all day?" And, I've answered... "uh... stuff"! And I immediately know what I did NOT do! Haha!
