Last week's podcast got many people thinking about their VALUE, their SELF-WORTH and if they are WORTH all the hard work and effort. Whatever it is that keeps you getting up and doing it all over again!

Did you decide if you are WORTH IT? I sure as hell hope so! I know I AM!

I read a great article last week about confidence and self-worth. We all have had challenges with it, probably based on your past failures. This article talked about how it's based on our PERSPECTIVE of our past and our future. It's our TRUE BELIEF. And, well, if you have a negative perspective, then you won't have much confidence will you? 

Listen in this week as I talk about a client meeting I had after I read this article. His first comment to start our meeting was to "take a break because he wasn't seeing progress." I discuss how the questions I asked him helped him SEE his progress which in-turn helped him achieve the initial goal he came to me for a year ago, build his confidence and relevance in his industry. The result was achieving his overarching goal of "being confident and relevant". I guess that's progress now isn't it?!!

So think about YOU. I've had a few clients lately talk about confidence and progress. And, like that article suggests, if you are basing your future performance on your past, then you won't achieve your goals. Lack of money affects, and can be affected by confidence. Achieving a goal of making a certain amount of money, getting a new kitchen, living at the beach, is a RESULT of your overarching goal that is really not measurable... becoming the BEST VERSION of YOU. 

And the only way you can achieve that is by what? Yes, changing your perspective about who you used to be, what mistakes you have made. Successful people view those as learning opportunities, which in-turn builds confidence.

Change your perspective about YOU, and your world will change. It's sort of like the cart and horse isn't it?
