HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION!
Welcome back to the weekly podcast No More Excuses! Thank you for listening and for sharing this podcast on your social media platforms and with others!
In last week's podcast, I talked about getting complacent and what it can do to your success. When things are good, how do you keep that edge? On one hand you deserve a break for working so hard to achieve whatever it is you wanted and just enjoy life for a moment – take a breath – and on the other hand, you don't want to get caught with your pants down! Or blindsided, like my client did!
Like I mentioned last week, my client came to me to help her get back ON-TRACK after she had the rug pulled out from under her. She didn't realize she had become complacent and now, after having her comfy life taken from her, she has to rebuild.
And, after just a few months of working with her, she's KILLING IT! It's really fun to see the change. What did she do?
SHE SHIFTED HER MINDSET!
She went from victim-mode, "why me", excuses, blame and bullshit to GRATITUDE, forward-thinking about "what's next". From "well, what can I do?" to "What I CAN DO, is... !"
It happens to all of us! Even the other morning, I went down a spirally negative path! We're in the process of moving, so we're having work done on the house, and it all needs to happen quickly! We weren't getting the responses we needed and they weren't working with the PLAN that it's in my head! It's all happening very fast and, on top of that chaos, our "interim" car we bought has turned out to be a big 'ol P.O.S! I went down to move the car for the roofer and head to the gym, and it wouldn't start. THAT is what set me off!
Listen in this week as I talk about what helped me CHANGE MY MINDSET! Obviously something/someone knew what I needed to help, and it did! And it can help you too!
We all know someone - many times it's the person you see in the mirror - that if it wasn't for bad luck you'd have no luck at all! Make sure you follow me on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram as I will share the article as well as my friends FB post that helped me! And all it took was "A Little Shift!"
Have a great week and if you know of someone who fits that scenario, email me, you are NOT alone!
Cheers!
