HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION!

Welcome back to the weekly podcast No More Excuses! I appreciate you being here, reading this, listening and sharing with others! Especially for taking the time to invest in you! Your comments, emails and messages keep me going as well! And thanks to listener Lyndsey Kemp out here in Cali! I appreciate you listening and look forward to hearing from you!

Time is ticking away isn’t it? Seven weeks left in 2019, and WOW, people are doing amazing things! Not just my clients, but everyone I've heard from. And, of course not everyone is on-track, and yes, there’s been many ups and downs, twists and turns, shifting and pivoting! But... not stopping! It’s been great hearing how all of you are committed to FINISHING THE year STRONG!

You know, as a runner I do comparisons to running a lot and, well, life is like running a race on a path you aren’t familiar with. I remember one race, where I had been going uphill for a long time – so much so that my lower back was starting to hurt. I had looked at the course online and thought that hill should have been over, and, then I turned a corner and could see that everyone ahead of me was still going uphill! I was discouraged. I thought to myself, “When does it stop? When will it flatten out?”

I had two choices at that moment. And I chose to dig deeper and I did NOT stop! I surprised myself a little that day. What about you? When have you surprised yourself? When have you thought to yourself, “I thought this would be easier?” Haha... haven’t we all?

No matter if it’s writing a proposal, working out, running a race, learning to cooking something new, interviewing, speaking, presenting... haven’t we all thought things from both ends of the spectrum – for example, “I thought that would be easier – I thought that I was prepared?” to “WOW, that was easier than I thought!”

Sometimes, no matter what it is, it’s hard. It hurts. It’s tiring. But I focused on the RESULT that I wanted!

Last week’s podcast [#188] was about DIGGING DEEPER by planning out the last eight weeks of 2019. I asked you to write down the dates of each week, and the desired RESULT you wanted to PLAY for! Then envision it. Dig deep. And then create your action steps more intentionally!

How’d you do? At the end of each week, review what’s happened. What’s worked, and why and what’s not worked and why. Make adjustments. Again, remember the quote: “If the plan doesn't work, change the plan but never change the goal.”

Now, seven weeks left. How are you feeling? What are you thinking? And, here’s the biggie... what do you need help with?

Life is a team sport. What is it that you need to help you FINISH THE YEAR STRONG?

I know, I know. It’s the Holidays. Everyone’s “busy”. What other bullshit excuse do you have that will keep you from asking for the HELP you need?

Listen in this week as that's what I am doing here with you on this podcast... getting you to DIG DEEPER as that’s sometimes what it takes to be able to ask for the help you need.

You do want to achieve goals don’t you? You do want to have more fun with life, right? You probably want to be able to help others as well, so, why wouldn’t YOU ask for help so you can get to that next level.

Sometimes we’re not equipped to finish what we started. It’s ok to ask for help. Trust me, I’ve learned to ask for help a lot. Especially with this move. But it took me awhile to learn HOW and WHO.

This week, listen in and then email me or post here what [or what] can help you FINISH STRONG? And if you just aren’t sure, set up a time to chat, I’m sure I can “hear” the challenges, and together we can create the solution!

Have a great week!

Cheers!
