HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION!
Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. And here we are early-August and as much as things are still uncertain and crazy and changing almost daily, opportunities are everywhere!
And THANK YOU for listening and sharing this podcast on your social media, because July surpassed May's RECORD of 3,955 downloads as July ended with 4,245! And the other day I looked, and August already had over 1,030! I LOVE IT!
THANK YOU!
And, some of the thanks I will give to Cody Butler for sharing with his network after being a guest on podcast #226, however, now that you've listened... you're hooked! I know it! LOL!
Well this month has been about digging deeper into Cody's "3-Tips" with last week's podcast being about communication and as he said, "Get your Communication Right!" So... did you? Last week's social media posts were about reviewing, listening and checking in on your internal and external communication.
You'll have to listen in to hear two quick stories about a client and a listener who contacted me about what they've done and how the panDAMNIT has affected them.
SHIT HAS CHANGED PEOPLE!
And, now this week's podcast leads me to Cody's 3rd Tip: "Take advantage of opportunities... especially advertising." As he said in the interview, he and his company "leaned in" and took advantage of discounts and new ways to market. WHY NOT YOU?
Too expensive right? Well, in this week's podcast I share an article from the World Economic Form published in June about how COVID has affected advertising and prices have fallen... and how some industries are taking advantage of not just the discounted prices, but the new way to COMMUNICATE to their customers.
So, this week, not that advertising is the right or wrong thing for you... but at least look into what you have, and haven't tried! What's worked. What's not... and well because SHIT IS DIFFERENT! And after all, ADVERTISING IS COMMUNICATION! And, considering many things have changed this year for ALL of us... how will you let your customers and prospects know?
If you need help with communication, writing, options - last week I suggested you contact Jill Bode - master of words and all this PR and now this week, as well as Jill... check out my other friend Lorraine Ball's company, Roundpeg.biz
Listen in this week and tell me how or what you will "Lean into" and take advantage of to try or restart an advertising campaign. Just because shit is sideways, doesn't mean you STOP advertising... it just needs to change like everything has.
I look forward to hearing from you!
Cheers!
